Another artiste to signify his interest in running for a political post
come 2015 is the legendary 'my car' crooner Tony Tetuila. He is said to
be running for the Kwara state house of assembly being the state he
originally hails from. He joins the likes of Desmond Elliott, Kate
Henshaw, Jibola Dabo and a host of nigerian artistes all contesting for
posts come 2015.
However his recent venture has been greeted with backlash from some of his fans as they think his choice of hairstyle does not depict that of someone who is really ready to take on a political post. Here are some of the tweets from his fans including that of top beat fm OAP Toolz.

Tony Tetuila with the Kwara State governor – Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed
Just when you think we’ve seen all the possible entertainers with
political ambitions for the 2015 general elections, another one
surfaces.
This time, it’s former member of defunct pop group, Remedies and pop
veteran, Tony Tetuila who announced that he has also joined the race to
serve his people.
Tetuila, who has just declared his intention to run for the Kwara State
House of Assembly, hails from the Irepodun Local Government part of the
state.
Recall that Tetuila was one of the entertainers who played a key role in
the re-election campaign of Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola a few
weeks back and the ‘My Car’ singer now joins entertainers like Desmond
Elliot, 9ice, Kate Henshaw and others.
However, one thing that has caught the attention of his fans and close
watchers is the hairstyle he currently sports in his campaign posters.
The singer still his trademark blonde rough curls in the posters and his
fans feel he should change his hairstyle to look more serious and
responsible before he can be taken seriously as a politician.
A number of his fans as well as OAP, Toolz, commented on the singer’s
hairstyle as seen in his campaign posters.

Just seen the Leadership newspaper issue and I feel for the staff. I
know what it means to work and not earn. I did that at THISDAY for 2
years. Delayed salaries, poor remuneration, casualization and even
'work-for-free' culture have sadly become a norm in the media industry

know what it means to work and not earn. I did that at THISDAY for 2
years. Delayed salaries, poor remuneration, casualization and even
'work-for-free' culture have sadly become a norm in the media industry
in Nigeria.

Tony Tetuila with the Kwara State governor – Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed
Just when you think we’ve seen all the possible entertainers with
political ambitions for the 2015 general elections, another one
surfaces.
This time, it’s former member of defunct pop group, Remedies and pop
veteran, Tony Tetuila who announced that he has also joined the race to
serve his people.
Tetuila, who has just declared his intention to run for the Kwara State
House of Assembly, hails from the Irepodun Local Government part of the
state.
Recall that Tetuila was one of the entertainers who played a key role in
the re-election campaign of Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola a few
weeks back and the ‘My Car’ singer now joins entertainers like Desmond
Elliot, 9ice, Kate Henshaw and others.
