It is a very sad one for the people of Mali at the moment as they are said to have lost the only patient of ebola recorded in the country. The victim is a 2year old baby girl who contracted Ebola after returning from Guinea.
According to Daily Mail;
Sources say the girl had been showing signs of recovery, but unfortunately, she relapsed, and died afterwards. The World Health Organization (WHO) has
revealed that the deceased was exposed to an unidentified number of
people while traveling with her grandmother hundreds of kilometers by
bus from Guinea via Mali’s capital to the western town of Kayes.
A health ministry official stated that the child’s mother died in Guinea a few weeks ago.
